BTG BioHeat transfers largest volume of Brazilian CERs

Monday 5th November, at the first day of the Dutch Trade Mission to Brazil, BTG director René Venendaal handed over a symbolic cheque of EUR 1,499,999 to the CEO of CAMIL, the No. 1 rice producer in Brazil.

The cheque was handed over on behalf of BioHeat International b.v. (see www.bioheat-international.com), a 100% subsidiary of BTG. BTG works together with CAMIL on projects that reduce greenhouse gases. BTG has built up a large CDM BioEnergy Portfolio in Brazil, of which the CERs are sold to European companies.
