Movie "Bioenergy in Motion" released

The DVD version of the movie "Bioenergy in Motion" has been released. The movie was completed late June 2008, and has been available for on-line viewing and downloads from the internet since 27 June. DVD copies are now available for distribution.

The movie shows merits and possibilities of various bioenergy technologies, applied at different scales and making use of a range of biomass feedstocks. It illustrates end-users the practical potential and possibilities, investors and financiers investment opportunities, and government authorities the policy context of bioenergy systems. The movie consists of 12 modules and lasts nearly 50 minutes in total.

Three versions of the movie have been made, covering Estonia, Czech Republic and Bulgaria respectively. Audio is already available in English and in the focus country language; a separate DVD version with subtitles in a range of different languages will be released shortly.

The movie was produced by BTG and a professional video production company, with the support of several organizations from across Europe. After the summer holiday copies of the movie will be actively distributed among (potential) end-users, investors and government authorities. In addition, the movie will be shown on conferences and trade fairs in Estonia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and elsewhere in Europe.
