The innovation voucher tender that was open in summer 2015 closed in September, and the results are available now. An international selection committee evaluated seven Dutch proposals, and selected the top three. BTG congratulates Hissink en Zonen, RiBo Holding and Bruins en Kwast Biomass Management with the result!
In the framework of the EU project SecureChain BTG invited SME companies from the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel to submit an application for an innovation voucher. This innovation voucher is to be used for the development of supply chains for solid biomass for bio-energy generation.
With the innovation voucher external advice can be hired. In addition, the applicant receives a support package to further develop their biomass supply chain. This support package includes technical assistance, a limited Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), financial mentoring and sustainability certification.
BTG looks forward to – together with the SecureChain consortium - supporting the three winners in the next few years.
