BTG’s role in GenB

The GenB project inspires and enthuses young people about opportunities and possibilities in the bioeconomy. BTG is involved in the project as bio-economy expert and is the leader of the project component “Inspire, Inform and Educate” that seek to increase the awareness of the environmental, social and economic benefits of a sustainable and circular bioeconomy. The awareness raising and educational activities will be tailored to the various GenB age groups (4-8, 9-12, and 13-19 years old), their teachers and other multipliers. They will be run in the local languages of the project partners in the context of large events, smaller settings and piloting schools. BTG is responsible for GenB-activities addressing these target groups in the Netherlands.
